Title:
Private coins extension with verifiable encryption
Authors: Oleg Fomenko
Abstract:This paper introduces a protocol for verifiable encryption of values committed using Pedersen commitments. It enables a recipient to decrypt the hidden amount while proving its consistency with the original commitment, without revealing the value publicly. The construction combines symmetric encryption with zero-knowledge proofs and is made non-interactive via the Fiat-Shamir heuristic. The protocol is particularly useful in blockchain settings where confidential but verifiable value transfers are required.
