Title:
Adaptive TDF from PKE with Randomness Recoverability and Pseudorandom Ciphertext Property
Authors: Fuyuki Kitagawa, Takahiro Matsuda
Abstract:We present a generic construction of adaptive trapdoor function (TDF) from any public-key encryption (PKE) scheme that satisfies two properties: the randomness recoverability and the pseudorandom ciphertext property. As a direct corollary, we can obtain adaptive TDF from any trapdoor permutation (TDP) whose domain is both recognizable and sufficiently dense. In our construction, we can prove that the function’s output is indistinguishable from uniform even when an adversary has access to the inversion oracle.
