Differential properties of integer multiplication

Abstract:In this paper, we study the differential properties of integer multiplication between two w-bit integers, resulting in a 2w-bit integer. Our objective is to gain insights into its resistance against differential cryptanalysis and asses its suitability as a source of non-linearity in symmetric key primitives.
