TS-Hash: a lightweight cryptographic hash family based on Galois LFSRs

Abstract:We study a novel family of cryptographic hash functions based on Galois linear feedback shift registers (LFSRs),
and identify initial guidelines for choosing secure parameters for this family.
These hash functions are extremely simple, efficient, and suitable for implementation in
constrained environments.
